Representing the high ground, Pont Prosecco provided Alex and Jr G the chance to have a wee beach assault, objective for the Brits to silence the guns which could range down the length of the allied sector.on the main table. Wave after wave crashed against the beach, and as the day drew on, Alex looked to be gaining ground. Alas, the promontory remained in German hands. First victory to the Germans

The big game. Inspired by events at Salerno, this represented D+4 of the joint US and British landing at Salami, Italy Sept 1943. With big thanks to Dave S for contributing so much scenery, troops and vehicles, and everyone for being such good sports.
