Start with individual infantry and cavalry sets, then add the artillery and formations your tabletop needs. Browse Russia and Prussia separately, or see the complete Seven Years’ War selection.

Start with a six-figure set, or build a whole formation

Individual infantry sets contain six figures, useful for adding a company, trying a uniform scheme or expanding an existing unit. Larger formations bring coordinated figures together without having to select every small pack separately.

The release includes 151 larger formation products: 78 Russian formations and 73 Prussian formations. Depending on the product, choose from 24- or 30-figure infantry battalions, cavalry regiments containing 12 mounted figures and their horses, or artillery batteries with three guns and 13 crew figures.

Qualifying formations include a 6% built-in saving against the equivalent smaller sets at the same scale with supports attached. The saving is reflected in the formation's product price, not a separate code. Check each listing for the exact contents and applicable comparison.

Infantry, cavalry and guns for both sides

Prussian and Russian musketeers provide the core of a line of battle, with grenadiers giving you additional choices in headgear and uniform. Mounted troops and artillery bring more variety to the tabletop.

The Russian range includes dragoons, while the Prussian range includes a selection of artillery pieces and crews. There are also grenadiers, other mounted figures and formation packs to explore.

The war behind the figures

From 1756 to 1763, Frederick II's Prussia fought a coalition that included Russia. Three encounters provide plenty of inspiration for scenarios:

  • Gross-Jägersdorf, 1757: Russian forces defeated a Prussian army in East Prussia.
  • Zorndorf, 1758: Frederick and the Russians fought a fiercely contested battle.
  • Kunersdorf, 1759: Russian and Austrian troops defeated Frederick's Prussian forces.

Try a historical scenario, or put your own commander in charge and see what happens when the two armies meet on your tabletop.
