Dismounted cavalry skirmish miniatures represent mounted troops fighting on foot, particularly suited to American Civil War cavalry actions. Dismounting allowed cavalry to use cover and hold ground more effectively.
Use these figures for open-order firefights, pickets and small engagements, paired with mounted troops and horse holders for a fuller cavalry force.
