Boney and his men came on in the same old style last night. The French hordes advanced on mass, but so did Beakys Boys . The British Artillery held up the French cavalry attacking through the centre however the British Light Dragoons must have forgotten their swords and armed themselves with cucumbers for the amount of damage they did and the Mamalukes of the guard pummeled them all game. Unusually the Brits advanced in column and routed the French left pushing them back with bayonet and well aimed musketry abelly supported by the KGL cavalry. The British left wing took the farm and hedged field and stoutly poured continuous volley fire into those Frenchies all evening. So it was a 'Huzzah' for the boys in Scarlett and even the jocks did well!
