Tonight's AWI Rebels & Patriots game saw a bloody clash for the strategically vital Lament ridge. The fighting was evenly matched until Paul lost his light cavalry to a deadly militia volley, the Patriot forces slowly gained the upper hand, possibly due to the British command being rather cautious, maybe due to wounds inflicted on Sharpe in the last game.
A deadly blast of lead swept away the crack grenadiers and British morale crumbled, leaving the Patriots victorious.
Dave T handled his Continental dragoons very well and Callum did useful work on the American left, huzzah!
