John has brought together a 15 mm Mediterranean village using Battle Honours 3D buildings, field walls and rural terrain. These photographs show how the range works as a connected tabletop setting.John recently sent us these photographs of his 15 mm Mediterranean village. The buildings share the same weathered stonework, warm roof tiles and exposed brick details, which helps the separate pieces read as one settlement on the table.
The wide view places the taller three-storey house beside smaller village buildings, while troops move through the streets and around the field edges. The different heights give the settlement a convincing village profile without taking up too much playing space.
The Mediterranean Village Church gives the rural section a clear focal point. John has picked out the roof tiles, worn render and exposed masonry, then tied the building into the board with grass around its base. The adjoining stone walls continue the same boundary line across the table.
