Normandy 1944 wargaming terrain
Operation Overlord began with airborne landings and the largest amphibious invasion in history. Allied forces came ashore across five main landing beaches and then fought to expand the bridgehead through a region of hedgerows, narrow roads, villages and stone buildings. The terrain shaped tactical movement and made many local actions difficult and costly.
This collection brings together Battle Honours 3D Normandy buildings and battlefield scenery, including locations inspired by the D-Day campaign and the fighting around key towns and crossings. Use period architecture, ruined structures, bridges and rural features to create historically themed tables for 1944 scenarios.
Pair Normandy terrain with British, German, US and Canadian WW2 figures to build linked campaigns from the initial landings through the battles for the Normandy bridgehead.
