Great Northern War miniatures cover the conflict fought from 1700 to 1721 between Sweden and a coalition led by Russia, with shifting participation from Denmark-Norway, Saxony-Poland and other powers. The war marked the decline of Swedish dominance in the Baltic and the rise of Russia as a major European power.
