ACW Union cavalry horse holders add an important historical detail to mounted forces. When cavalry dismounted to fight, selected soldiers remained behind to control groups of horses while the rest deployed on foot.
These figures are ideal for cavalry skirmish scenarios, camp scenes and dioramas. Pair them with Union dismounted cavalry to represent the practical organisation behind Civil War mounted operations.
