WW2 US GIs Now Available

WW2 US GIs Now Available

We’ve added a full set of US GIs to the WW2 range, built around the infantry squads that spearheaded the American advance through Western Europe from D-Day to the Rhine. If you’re recreating Normandy, the bocage, or late-war urban fighting, this release covers the core troops you’ll need – with sharp 12K sculpts and historically grounded kit.

Historical Background

By mid-1944, US infantry divisions were pushing through France in tough, attritional fighting. The standard infantryman carried the M1 Garand rifle, with squad support from BAR gunners, bazooka teams, and mortar crews. Helmets featured netting or scrim. Packs were overloaded, and most carried extra ammo, grenades, or entrenching tools. Our figures reflect that – gear-packed and battle-worn.

These sculpts represent troops from around summer 1944 to spring 1945, covering Normandy, Operation Cobra, the Hurtgen Forest, Battle of the Bulge, and the final advance into Germany.

In the Range

This set gives you a complete platoon with support options. All sculpted by Gordon Kitney with true-to-scale proportions and gear.

Included packs:

  • Advancing Riflemen – varied stances with M1 rifles and slung kit.

  • BAR Teams – the M1918A2 with bipod and correct webbing.

  • Bazooka Teams – kneeling and firing poses, with M1A1 launchers and crates.

  • Command Group – officers, NCOs, a field radio operator, and character sculpts.

  • Heavy MG Teams – prone with M1919 Browning, tripod and ammo belts.

  • Mortar Teams – full 60mm crews with support crates and shell detail.

All sets are designed for use in skirmish-level games like Bolt Action or Chain of Command, but also work well for large-scale dioramas.

Design & Production Notes

  • True Scale: All figures measure from foot to nose bridge – no exaggerated bulk.

  • 12K Print Resolution: Fine details like chin straps, helmet nets, and glove creases hold at even the smallest scales.

  • Flexible Resin: Tough enough for play, refined enough for painting.

  • Optional Supports: Select “Supports Removed” if you want them cleaned and ready.

Suggested Scenarios

  • Normandy hedgerow fighting

  • Clearing a French village

  • Ardennes counterattack (winter basing)

  • Crossing the Rhine into Germany

Summary

If you're building a historically grounded US force for late WW2, this range delivers accuracy, pose variety, and high-end detail.
