Commander's Message

My commanding officer had left me a crucial message, setting the stage for our strategy. We were tasked with securing the left flank, capturing the ford, and outflanking the Russian forces in the middle. Meanwhile, we had to advance towards the church while maintaining control of the beautiful Russian village – models available on Battle Honours 3D!

The Clash Begins

The Russians took the initiative and advanced their tanks, ready to engage the German forces. The first exchange of fire resulted in a German victory, as we successfully took out a Russian tank positioned at the center of the battlefield. Our held attacks by tanks guarding the village caused the Russians to falter.

However, the situation was far from one-sided. In the southern region, we suffered a loss as one of our units was taken out as it exited the wooded area. Chaos unfolded in the north, where we lost two more central tanks in quick succession. The Russian column broke through, establishing a formidable front across the map.

German Counterattack

One of our fellow German comrades seized an opportunity presented by exposed Russian tanks and swiftly eliminated them, clearing the vantage point of any remaining infantry. In the southern sector, it was our turn to retaliate. We advanced our tanks and took out a Russian tank that had ventured onto the road, but other shots missed their mark.

Close-Range Encounter

With a clear shot in the middle of the battlefield, our tanks fired from close range, but the Russian tank managed to withstand the assault, showcasing the resilience of our foes. Non-lethal combat continued to be a theme in this intense confrontation.

Russian Air Support Arrives

As the battle entered its second round, the Russians called in air support, introducing a new challenge. The anti-aircraft fire initially missed its mark due to a mistaken choice of dice, but the skies soon became a battleground. Who knew that 2D6 isn't the same as 1D10!

Fierce Struggles

The combat escalated on all fronts during this round. One of our comrades made an impressive streak, taking out four Russian tanks in rapid succession, only losing one of our tanks in return. However, our own shots continued to disappoint, as rumors of Russian failures in the south appeared to be exaggerated.

The Current Situation

As it stands, we have tanke out 12 Russian tanks against 4 German tanks, but there are whispers of massive Russian reinforcements on the way. We're also hopeful for the arrival of German air support. The village is under our control, and the church is now our Overwatch position, setting the stage for German artillery to join the fray in the next round.

The questions that linger: Can we maintain our hold on the south and push toward the river? Will the German anti-air continue its amusing endeavors? Can the Russians break free from being pinned down? For the answers, you'll have to stay tuned for the next episode of this gripping battle. Thanks for joining us on this adrenaline-pumping journey!
