Franco-Prussian War miniatures

War began in July 1870 and quickly produced major battles including Wörth, Mars-la-Tour, Gravelotte and Sedan. The capture of Napoleon III at Sedan helped bring down the Second French Empire, although fighting continued under the French Third Republic until the armistice of 1871.
