Collection: ACW - Union Armies - Battalions

ACW Union battalions provide organised formations for players building larger Union armies for American Civil War wargaming. The collection is structured around battalion-level groupings that can be used as building blocks within regiments, brigades and larger tabletop forces.

During the Civil War of 1861-65, Union armies expanded rapidly from a small pre-war regular establishment into mass volunteer forces. Infantry remained the core of most field armies, supported by cavalry and artillery. Use this collection to assemble cohesive Union formations for campaign play and larger historical battles.
