Miniatures for the American Revolutionary War
The war began with fighting between Britain and its North American colonies and developed into an international conflict. France entered the war as an American ally, while German troops, commonly associated with the term Hessians, served with British forces under agreements with several German states. The conflict ended with American independence recognised in the Treaty of Paris in 1783.
