The Mediterranean Rural Buildings Terrain (Peninsular War) set is available in 40mm scale and can also be produced in 54mm for collectors and those using traditional toy soldier scale. These are adapted from our core building designs but resized to work accurately at larger scales, maintaining correct proportions for doorways, rooflines and internal spaces.
This terrain has been developed for gamers and collectors who prefer working with larger figures, either for skirmish-based wargaming or static diorama building.
While based on our smaller-scale models, these buildings have been rescaled properly for 40mm. They’ve been adjusted with the needs of larger scale gaming in mind. Window heights, wall thicknesses, and internal spaces have been considered so that the models still look and feel right at the table.

Where This Terrain Fits In
These buildings are ideal for representing small rural settlements, farmsteads, and village outskirts across Spain and Portugal during the Peninsular War (1808–1814). Their simple stonework and tile roofs suit civilian structures that were often caught in the middle of the fighting.
