A steel truss bridge model comprising four distinct parts: two end sections, two identical bridge span sections, and supporting centre pillars. The bridge features an elevated steel lattice frame with diagonal bracing, forming a robust WW2-style design. The configuration lets you position the bridge over terrain with accurate under-deck clearance, and the modular parts offer flexibility in layout.

Modular steel bridges like this were critical for advancing Allied armour and supply lines during WWII, especially in Normandy where rivers, canals, and destroyed infrastructure demanded rapid bridging. Engineers deployed Bailey and Pierced Steel Plank bridges to maintain momentum. This model fits such scenarios, offering playability for tactical crossing points, ambush setups, or bridging operations during the push inland after D‑Day.

6mm, 10mm, 1:144, 12mm, 15mm, 1/100, 1/87 (HO Scale), 20mm, 1/76 (OO Scale), 1/72, 25mm, 28mm, 1/48, 40mm, 54mm.
Models are printed in high‑quality FDM filament for 15mm and above, and in 12k resin for scales smaller than 13.5 mm

This product forms part of BattleHonours3D, The World at War collection. These models have been designed specifically for uses in tabletop battles, including Allied Invasion of Europe, Battle El Allemande, Battle of Crete, Italian Campaign, Battle for Berlin, Battle of Ardennes, Stalingrad, Kursk, Burma, Battle of Britain, D-Day Landings. This set is based upon World War 1 (WW1) & World War 2 (WW2). World War I, also called First World War or Great War, an international conflict that in 1914–18 embroiled most of the nations of Europe along with Russia, the United States, the Middle East, and other regions. The war pitted the Central Powers—mainly Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Turkey—against the Allies—mainly France, Great Britain, Russia, Italy, Japan, and, from 1917, the United States. It ended with the defeat of the Central Powers. The war was virtually unprecedented in the slaughter, carnage, and destruction it caused. World War II, also called Second World War, conflict that involved virtually every part of the world during the years 1939–45. The principal belligerents were the Axis powers—Germany, Italy, and Japan—and the Allies—France, Great Britain, the United States, the Soviet Union, and, to a lesser extent, China. The war was in many respects a continuation, after an uneasy 20-year hiatus, of the disputes left unsettled by World War I. World War II is known as the bloodiest conflict.

What scales are on offer?

Here at Battlehonours3D we offer a variety of scales for all tabletop gaming scenarios, 6mm, 10 - 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 28mm, 32mm, 42mm, & 54mm. Due to how small the models are at below 15mm in scale, all models at 6mm & 10 – 12mm will be printed as one complete piece. All sizes 15 mm and above will come in parts with removable roofs so you are able to battle and use the various levels of our multistorey buildings, ideal for placing figures in firing positions.

Are the models supplied painted?

Please be aware this product is provided unpainted and unassembled.
The painted photos displayed are just samples of what can be done with our models. If you would like more information on how to paint the models to the high standard that has been pictured, then please check out our blog articles giving step by step tutorials on how we paint our models. We recommend priming & painting the models prior to use to get the best out of the high-quality prints we provide. 

What resolution are the models printed in?

These models and buildings are printed in high quality resin in 8K resolution to get the most out of our designs. The FDM will not be in 8K but still high quality to get the best looking prints available. Our models are produced in resin at scales below 15mm, 15mm and above will be produced in FDM. Due to printing, some models will come as pieces and might require some minor cleaning & sanding prior for easy assembly. Our aim at BattleHonours3D is to provide you with high detailed, realistic prints. We take the time needed to ensure that our prints will not have layer lines, and you will get the finest of details displayed on the models.

What level of detail should I expect to receive?

Due the potentially small pieces our models are not suitable for children. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian/carer to gauge the suitability of our products.
